Sun Fresh
My friend LM had an open spot in her home just waiting for one of my paintings. She found an old faded print that she thought would be an inspirational view for her in the morning. This is my interpretation of that old print. It found that open spot on her wall. I know she doesn't hang out her laundry though.

Fall in Cortona
Fourteen of our family members and favorite traveling buddies spent a week in a villa in Tuscany. We all went to Cortona to wander around. Everyone went in a different direction. Somehow we all met at the piazza. It was a wonderful scene. It's on the wall of one of my son and daughter-in-law's home in Texas.

Skipper
Skipper was one of our dog, Chase's, best buddies. Skipper had an unfortunate nerve problem and left us. Barb had taken photos of Chase and Skipper and I chose one to paint and give to Skipper's mom and dad. It's hanging on their wall in Maine where Chase and Skipper used to play.

Black Bear Fries
A restaurant in Maine serves great fries. I thought it would make an interesting painting. It was donated to the Farnsworth Museum for their fundraiser "Paint the Town" where paintings of the town are autioned off. The funds raised are donated to the museum. This one sold.

My Friend, Mare
We were with our close traveling buddies in Tuscany visiting all the usual spots. The day before we were to depart, we were sitting in the piazza at San Gigmignano. Mare was pensive and I took a photo. Trying to capture her mood before leaving, I painted this. It's now on her wall in Iowa.

Typically Provence
Walking through a village in Provence I spied this one which was different: the bedraggled plants, the mailbox on a post, then the open area next to it with the Parisean blue sky peeking through. It's hanging in a friends home who took the photo.
